  • Profile information including bio, phone number, and avatar
  • For organisers: Emirates ID number, trade licence number, organisation name, and contact details
  • Event information submitted by organisers
  • Communications with our support team

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device information (device type, operating system, unique device identifiers)
  • Usage data (screens viewed, features used, time spent in app)
  • Location data (with your permission) to show nearby events
  • Push notification tokens (to send event updates and approvals)

2.3 Information from third parties

  • Payment information processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store (we do not store card details)
  • Subscription status from RevenueCat

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Display relevant events based on your location and preferences
  • Process organiser registrations and event submissions
  • Send push notifications about event approvals, rejections, and updates
  • Process subscription payments
  • Improve the App and develop new features
  • Comply with legal obligations under UAE law
  • Prevent fraud and ensure platform security

4. Emirates ID and Trade Licence Data

4.1 Emirates ID numbers and trade licence numbers collected from organisers are used solely for identity verification purposes.

4.2 This data is stored securely and is not shared with third parties except where required by UAE law.

4.3 We do not perform automated verification of Emirates ID numbers and rely on organisers providing accurate information.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with:

  • Service providers: Cloud hosting (infrastructure providers), analytics services, and push notification services strictly for operating the App
  • RevenueCat: For subscription management and payment processing
  • Cloudflare: For image storage and content delivery
  • Law enforcement: Where required by UAE law or valid legal process
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition

6. Data Storage and Security

6.1 Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.

6.2 Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

6.3 We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as required by law.

6.4 If you delete your account, your personal data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Location Data

7.1 We request access to your location to show events near you.

7.2 Location access is optional — you can use the App without granting location permission.

7.3 We do not share your precise location data with event organisers or third parties.

8. Push Notifications

8.1 We send push notifications for event approvals, rejections, and updates relevant to your account.

8.2 You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.

Under applicable UAE data protection laws, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate personal data
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Object to the processing of your personal data
  • Withdraw consent at any time
