Privacy Policy
Last updated July 21, 2026
This Privacy Notice for Misbau LLC ('we', 'us', or 'our') describes how and why we might access, collect, store, use, and/or share ('process') your personal information when you use our services ('Services'), including when you:
- Download and use our mobile application (Mile7: Group Plans), or any other application of ours that links to this Privacy Notice
- Use Mile7 to plan a real-life get-together: one person starts a room for an occasion, invites friends with a link, and the group votes on a day and adds what matters to them — budget per person, dietary needs, accessibility, the kind of outing. Mile7 then helps the group settle on a venue and confirm attendance. There is no chat and no public feed.
- Engage with us in other related ways, including any marketing or events

If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services. If you still have any questions or concerns, please contact us at [email protected].

1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
Personal information you disclose to us
In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.
Personal Information Provided by You. The personal information we collect may include the following:
- names
- email addresses
- passwords
- city (approximate location)
- profile photo (optional)
- dietary and outing preferences
Sensitive Information. We do not process sensitive information.
Payment Data. If you choose to purchase a subscription or other paid feature, that purchase is made through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google collects and processes your payment details, and your subscription status is managed for us by RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your payment card number, security code, or other payment instrument details. You may review their privacy notices here: Apple, Google, and RevenueCat.
Application Data. If you use our application, we may also collect the following information if you choose to provide us with access or permission:
- Mobile Device Access. We may request access to certain features of your device, including the calendar (to add a confirmed plan) and, if you choose to invite someone that way, your contacts. You can change these permissions in your device settings at any time.
- Push Notifications. With your permission, we collect a device push token so we can send you notifications about your plans — for example when a day is locked, a shortlist is ready, or a venue is chosen. You can turn these off in your device settings.
- Device Data. We collect device information such as device model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, mobile carrier, and IP address, primarily to maintain security and operation of the app and for troubleshooting and internal analytics.
All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.
Information automatically collected
In Short: Some information — such as your IP address and/or device characteristics — is collected automatically when you use our Services.
We automatically collect certain information when you use or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, approximate location, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information. This is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services and for internal analytics and reporting.
The information we collect includes log and usage data (diagnostic, usage, and performance information our systems record, such as timestamps, features used, and error reports) and device data (device identifiers, model, operating system, and similar).
Google API
Our use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?
In Short: We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law.
We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:
- To facilitate account creation and authentication and otherwise manage user accounts.
- To deliver and facilitate delivery of services to the user, including creating and running planning rooms, merging group requirements, and confirming attendance.
- To respond to user inquiries and offer support.
- To send administrative information to you, such as changes to our terms and policies.
- To enable user-to-user interaction within a plan — for example, sharing an invited participant's votes, requirements, and responses with the other members of that same plan.
- To power our smart venue search (a paid AI feature), which sends the group's combined requirements to our AI provider to rank a venue shortlist.
- To protect our Services, including fraud monitoring and prevention.
- To save or protect an individual's vital interests, such as to prevent harm.
3. WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON TO PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?
In Short: We only process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason to do so under applicable law.
If you are located in the EU or UK, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR require us to explain the valid legal bases we rely on. We may rely on the following:
- Consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
- Performance of a Contract. To fulfil our contractual obligations to you, including providing our Services.
- Legitimate Interests. To achieve legitimate business interests that do not outweigh your interests and rights, such as to diagnose problems and prevent fraudulent activity.
- Legal Obligations. Where necessary for compliance with our legal obligations.
- Vital Interests. Where necessary to protect your vital interests or those of a third party.
If you are located in Canada, we may process your information where you have given express or implied consent. In certain exceptional cases permitted by law, we may process information without consent — for example, for fraud detection and prevention, if collection is clearly in an individual's interest and consent cannot be obtained in a timely way, or where required to comply with a subpoena, warrant, or court order.
4. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
In Short: We may share information in specific situations described in this section and/or with the following categories of third parties.
Vendors, Consultants, and Other Third-Party Service Providers. We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, and contractors who perform services for us and require access to such information to do that work. We have contracts in place designed to safeguard your personal information; they cannot use it for anything other than the work we instruct.
The categories of third parties we may share personal information with are as follows:
- AI platforms (Anthropic — see section 6)
- Cloud computing and data storage services (Google Cloud / Firebase)
- Payment processors (Apple, Google, and RevenueCat — for subscriptions and paid features)
- User account registration and authentication services (Firebase Authentication)
- Mapping and venue data (Google Maps Platform)
We also may need to share your personal information in the following situations:
- Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business.
- Google Maps Platform. We may share information with Google Maps Platform APIs (such as the Maps and Places APIs) to show venue locations, addresses, and directions.
- Other participants in your plan. Mile7 is invitation-only and has no public feed. When you join or contribute to a plan, the information you add — such as your name, profile photo, availability, votes, and stated requirements — is visible to the other people invited to that same plan, so the group can agree on a day and a venue. It is not made public or shared with users outside that plan.
5. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?
In Short: We may use cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure our Services.
We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to gather information when you interact with our Services. These help us maintain the security of our Services and your account, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save your preferences, and support basic functions. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not serve advertising in Mile7.
6. DO WE OFFER ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE-BASED PRODUCTS?
In Short: Yes. We offer a feature powered by artificial intelligence.
As part of our Services, we offer a smart venue search feature powered by artificial intelligence (our 'AI Product'). It is designed to suggest real venues matched to your group's combined requirements.
Use of AI Technologies. We provide the AI Product through a third-party AI service provider, Anthropic. Smart venue search sends the group's stated preferences (outing type, budget, area, dietary and cuisine choices, and occasion) and public venue data (such as venue names, addresses, and map links from Google Places) to our AI provider to rank suggestions. It does not send your name, email, contacts, or account identifiers. Please avoid entering other people's personal details into free-text fields, such as the occasion or notes, as that text is included in the request.
How to opt out. Smart venue search is optional. You can choose not to use it and add venue options manually instead.
7. IS YOUR INFORMATION TRANSFERRED INTERNATIONALLY?
In Short: Yes. We may transfer, store, and process your information in countries other than your own.
Your account information and the plans you create are stored on Google Cloud (Firebase). The database storing your personal information is located in Zurich, Switzerland (Google Cloud region europe-west6). Some processing — such as our Cloud Functions and our AI provider — takes place in the United States. Regardless of your location, your information may be transferred to, stored by, and processed in these and other countries.
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland, please be aware that these countries may not have data-protection laws as comprehensive as those in your country. We take measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable law.
European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Where required, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and equivalent UK and Swiss safeguards) for transfers of personal information to third-party providers. These clauses require recipients to protect personal information originating from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland in accordance with European data protection law. Copies can be provided on request.
8. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
In Short: We keep your information only while your account is active, and we retain nothing personal after you delete it.
We keep your personal information for as long as you have an account with us. Mile7 stores no payment or financial information (billing is handled entirely by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat), so we have no tax or accounting obligation to retain your data.
When you delete your account — in the app via Profile → Delete Account, which is immediate and permanent — we erase your personal information: your profile (name, email, city, preferences, and photo), your login, plans you created that no one else had joined, your participation and responses in every plan, invites you sent, your notifications, and your usage records.
The one exception is a plan you created that other people have already joined: that plan survives for the other participants so their get-together is not cancelled when you leave, but your name, responses, and personal details are removed from it. Apart from that, we retain nothing personal once your account is deleted. Full details, including how to request deletion if you cannot open the app, are on our account and data deletion page.
9. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organisational and technical security measures.
We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organisational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that unauthorised third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.
10. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?
In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age or the equivalent age of majority in your jurisdiction, nor do we knowingly sell such personal information. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18, or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to their use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users under 18 has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from children under 18, please contact us at [email protected].
11. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?
In Short: Depending on your region — including the EEA, UK, Switzerland, Canada, and certain US states — you may have rights that allow greater access to and control over your personal information.
In some regions (like the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Canada), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right to request access to and obtain a copy of your personal information, to request rectification or erasure, to restrict processing, to data portability, and not to be subject to solely automated decision-making. You can make such a request by contacting us using the details below, and we will consider and act upon it in accordance with applicable law.
How to contact us about your rights:
- Email: [email protected]
- Post: see 'How can you contact us about this notice?' below
If you are located in the UK or EEA and believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint). If you are located in Switzerland, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
Withdrawing your consent. If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, you have the right to withdraw it at any time by contacting us. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing before its withdrawal.
Account Information
If you would at any time like to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, you can:
- Log in to your account settings and update your user account; or
- In the Mile7 app, go to Profile → Delete Account. Account deletion is immediate and permanent.
Upon your request to terminate your account, we will delete your account and personal information as described in section 8 and on our account and data deletion page.
12. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ('DNT') feature you can activate. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a standard is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.
13. DO UNITED STATES RESIDENTS HAVE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS?
In Short: If you are a resident of certain US states, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information.
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, you may have the right to request access to and details about the personal information we hold about you, to correct inaccuracies, to obtain a copy of it, and to delete it. You may also have the right to withdraw consent. These rights may be limited in some circumstances by applicable law.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not process or share it for targeted advertising. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we deny a request, you may appeal by contacting us at the same address.
14. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS NOTICE?
In Short: Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated 'Last updated' date at the top of this Privacy Notice. If we make material changes, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice or by directly sending you a notification. We encourage you to review this Privacy Notice frequently.
